Bride of Christ

Upon the rock, Peter, Christ built His church (Mt 16:18)
And considered her His bride. (Rev 19:7)
This love He commanded be shown by men,
To the wife chosen to stand by their side. (Eph 5:25)

Soon, we see that the love of a mother,
That is shown tenderly to her children,
Was likened to that between the Apostle Paul,
And the churches which he ministered in. (1 Thess 2:7,8)

So the love and faith of a mother is generational:
Like that Paul spotted in the disciple Timothy.
Which faith he said was in grandmother Lois, mother Eunice,
"And I am pursuaded also is in thee." (2 Tim 1:5)

This love and faith in both Ruth and Naomi -
Mother and daughter in law, is witnessed once again.
So this Bride of Christ, the church, blends us all in love,
And faith in *Him* is the truest eternal uniter of women and men. (Gal 3:28)

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it".
(Matthew 16:18)

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it;"
(Eph 5:25)

"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready."
(Rev 19:7)

"But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children: so being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us."
(1 Thess 2:7, 8)   *Paul referencing the churches as his children

"When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also."
(2 Tim 1:5)

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." (Gal 3:28)
